The Kathleen Berney label
The signature look of the label can be seen in the use of pleats, pieced together fabrics, hand painted garments and unusual and dramatic shapes. Pieces range from dramatic special occasion wear to casual day wear. Pleated and crushed pieces are great for travelling with no ironing needed. The label is primarily designed for the woman aged 35+. Pieces come in sizes S-XXXL with larger sizes particularly popular. The label is designed and manufactured in Australia.

About Kathleen
Since the mid 1990s Kathleen has been designing her label from her rural studio in the outskirts of Sydney. Kathleen is influenced by her love of textures, interesting and unusual fabrics, shapes and colours.  Prior to moving into the fashion arena Kathleen worked as a textile artist for over 20 years. Her one off wall pieces, framed collages, scarves and clothes were exhibited and sold in galleries around Australia. For many years Kathleen also taught batik and textile dyeing in her studio and in workshops around Australia.
